How to separate comments and follow [Mẹo WordPress] / WordPress

Most of the wordpress themes out there (by default) combine both comments and trackback/pingback together and display under the same list. But why separate them? Simply to make everything seem more organized so your blog comments have a clearer picture of what are comments, what are not.

It’s not hard to do, but you need to use a standalone WordPress blog (not wordpress.com), which is provided with access to change comments.php. Fire up your favorite editor, and here we go.

You will add and edit you comment.php. So back up that file before you start modifying it.
